Custom PC and gaming builds in Adelaide

The most expensive part in a build is rarely the one that makes your machine feel fast. Pre-built systems are usually unbalanced on purpose — a headline graphics card propped up by a slow drive and a power supply nobody wants to talk about.

I spec around what you actually do with the machine, whether that is competitive shooters at high refresh, video editing, CAD, or a quiet family desktop that will still be fine in six years. Then I build it neatly, set it up properly, and hand it over working rather than in a box.

What this covers

  • Parts chosen around your budget and your real workload
  • Assembly, cable management and BIOS setup done neatly
  • Windows, drivers and game platforms installed and updated
  • Sensible cooling, noise and performance tuning

Sound familiar?

These are the ones I get called about most. If yours is not listed, it is still worth asking.

  • You want a gaming PC but the spec sheets mean nothing to you
  • A pre-built machine that is expensive and still stutters
  • An older PC that could be worth upgrading rather than replacing
  • Video editing or CAD work that is bottlenecked somewhere
  • A machine that sounds like a hairdryer under load
  • Parts already bought, but no confidence about assembling them

Custom PC & Gaming Builds — common questions

Do I buy the parts, or do you?

Either way works. Plenty of people prefer to order the parts themselves once I have given them the list, which keeps the hardware cost fully transparent and the warranties in your own name. If you would rather not deal with it, we can talk about me handling the ordering.

Can you upgrade my existing PC instead of building new?

Often, and it is usually the better value answer. A drive swap and a memory upgrade transform more machines than a new graphics card does. I will tell you when upgrading is the smart move and when you are pouring money into a dead end.

Will you set up Windows and my games too?

Yes. It arrives with Windows installed and updated, drivers current, storage partitioned sensibly, and your game platforms signed in. Fan curves and thermals get tuned under real load, not left on whatever the motherboard defaulted to.
