Phone, tablet and device setup in Adelaide
A new phone is sold as a five-minute job and is almost never a five-minute job — particularly if you are moving between Android and iPhone, or the old device is full, slow, or no longer turning on reliably.
I move everything across properly: photos, messages, contacts, apps, two-factor codes and the accounts that are easy to get locked out of. Then I switch on a backup that works, so the next upgrade genuinely is a five-minute job.

Can you move my data from Android to iPhone, or the other way?
Yes, in both directions. Photos, contacts and most app data move cleanly. Some things — certain message histories and app-specific purchases — have real limits, and I will tell you which ones before we start rather than after.
What about my two-factor authentication codes?
This is the part that catches people out, and it is worth doing before the old phone is wiped or traded in. I move your authenticator across and verify you can still get into your important accounts while the old device is still working.
Can you help set up a device for an older family member?
Gladly, and it is some of my favourite work. That usually means larger text, simpler home screens, the right accessibility settings, and writing down how to do the three or four things they actually want to do.
